Covid-19 Policies

Covid-19 Policies

Our goal at OOT is to keep our students and staff safe and healthy. We hope the following policies will help that happen. The
following policies override any policies permanently or previously in place.

As always, we ask your dancer to be fever/vomit/symptom free for at least 24 hours before attending class. If a student tests positive,
they must have 2 negative COVID tests before they can return to class.

Per the local ordinance, all teachers, office staff, students 10 or older and studio visitors will be required to wear a mask in the
building. Teachers may require a mask regardless of age. If a student is not yet 10 but in class with 10 year olds, they will be
required to wear a mask.

Drop off/pickup
OOT staff will be checking temperatures of anyone coming into the building. Temperature checks will start 5 min before class time,
wait until your dancer has cleared their temperature check before leaving. Please do not drop your dancer off more than 5 min before
class. Because of our cleaning/disinfecting policy, we ask that you have your dancer picked up within 5 min of the end of class.

Waiting Room
In general, our waiting room will be closed until further notice. We realize new dancers/parents might want to observe for the first
few weeks. Only 1 parent per dancer and no additional siblings. After the first 4 classes, we ask that you drop your dancer off.

We will allow time between to classes to clean and disinfect the studio. All barres, door knobs, light switches and commonly touched
surfaces will be cleaned by OOT staff.

Extended Studio Closure
Should the city of College Station lock business down for an extended period of time, OOT will adhere to those guidelines. Within a
week, all classes will be moved to an online format, Zoom or something similar. (Slight adjustments to teachers and times may
have to be made.) Students will be expected to attend class as scheduled and normal tuition will be applied. If a closure happens
during the Spring, recital choreography will continue. Should a lockdown extend past our normal dance year, we will work within the
guidelines of the city of Bryan and/or College Station to reschedule our recital to the summer. In this case, we would have 1-3 in
studio practices before recital weekend.

**Policies subject to change to remain in compliance with all national, state and local ordinances.
