Covid-19 Policies

Covid-19 Policies*

Our goal at OOT is to keep our students and staff safe and healthy. We hope the following policies will help that happen.

Sickness: As always, we ask your dancer to be fever/vomit/symptom-free for at least 24 hours before attending class. If a student tests positive for COVID 19, we ask that they adhere to current CDC quarantine guidelines.

Masks: Per the current regulations, masks will not be required. Students and parents are always welcome to wear masks at their discretion.

Waiting Room: Our waiting/observation room will be open this fall. We do ask that there are a minimum number of observers per dancer. Please observe social distancing.

Cleaning/Disinfecting: We will deep clean/disinfect the studio each weekend.

Extended Studio Closure: Should the city of College Station lock business down for an extended period of time, OOT will adhere to those guidelines. Within a week, all classes will be moved to an online format, Zoom, or something similar. (Slight adjustments to teachers and times may have to be made.) Students will be expected to attend class as scheduled and normal tuition will be applied. If a closure happens during the Spring, recital choreography will continue. Should a lockdown extend past our normal dance year, we will work within the guidelines of the city of Bryan and/or College Station to reschedule our recital to the summer. In this case, we would have 1-3 in-studio practices before recital weekend.

*Policies subject to change to remain in compliance with all national, state, and local ordinances.
